Chester J. CORNISH

Chester J. CORNISH, 56, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born July 25, 1957, in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of Chester E. and Alyce L. Morris Cornish. He was employed by Sherwood Enterprises, Inc. in Ulysses from 1981 until 2011 and Hoopes Turf Farm, Inc. / RevHoopes Trucking, LLC in Ulysses since 2011. Surviving are: his father, Chester E. Cornish of Harrison Valley, PA; two sons, Byron J. Cornish of American Falls, ID and Matthew S. Cornish of Harrison Valley; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy C. and John Galvin of Elmira, NY; a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother in 2011. A graveside service will be held in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, PA at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
