Charles HURLER

Charles HURLER, Jr., 77, of Westfield, PA, died Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. Born February 6, 1935, in Brookfield, PA, he was the son of Charles and Mildred Briggs Hurler. He was married to the former Carol Saxton, who survives. He was employed by Cowanesque Valley Iron Works for many years. Surviving besides his wife, Carol, are: two daughters, Diane Hurler of Westfield and Heather (Keith) Chase of Wellsville, NY; a son, Russell (Laura) Hurler of Chicopee, MA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline (John) Smith and Betty (Edwin) Kibbe, both of Harrison Valley; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. His son-in-law, Rev. Keith Chase will officiate. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
