Champ E. HOSLEY, 93, of Coudersport, PA, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born May 20, 1921, in Coudersport, he was the son of Harry H. and Mary Coppersmith Hosley. On October 21, 1944, he married the former Mary Ellen Umsted, who predeceased him in 1982. A World War II Veteran, he served honorably with the US Army from 1942 - 1945. He was a self-employed professional photographer. Surviving are: a daughter, Mary Jean Botts of AR; a sister, June Lanzalotti of FL; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, John Hosley, Truxton Hosley and Anson Hosley; and two sisters, Velma Hosley, who died in infancy and Kate Rowe. A graveside service will be held in Ulysses Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Ulysses Library, P.O. Box 316, Ulysses, PA 16948.
