Caroline F. Lunn
TURTLEPOINT- Caroline F. Lunn, 95, of Route 155 N, passed away Friday (Feb. 12, 2021) in the Olean General Hospital.
Born March 18, 1925, in Eldred, PA, she was a daughter of Samuel L. And Grace Grimes Sherwood. On Feb. 19, 1943, in Port Allegany, she married Clifton J. Lunn, who died Jan. 3, 1991.
Caroline was a lifetime resident of the area, and a homemaker having raised six children.
Surviving is a daughter, Gloria J. Shreve of Turtlepoint; five sons Clifton L. (Dorothy) Lunn of Allegany, NY, Larry W. (Junita) Lunn of Jay, OK, Kenneth A. (Victoria) Lunn of Ridgway, PA, Brian J. (Linda) Lunn of Port Allegany, Scott A. (Diane) Lunn of Bolivar, NY; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a brother, James D. (Shirley) Sherwood of Turtlepoint; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifton, two grandchildren, Martin Main and Joshua Lunn, two great-grandchildren, Jarrett Eck and Quatna Hart.
Private funeral and graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
Memorials can be made to S.W. Smith Library, Port Allegany.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
