Carole M. PUTMAN

Carole M. PUTMAN, 71, of Gaines, PA, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in her home. Born January 5, 1941, in Sunderlinville, PA, she was the daughter of Harold and Mayjol Snay Monroe. She was married to Paul E. Putman, who predeceased her in 1995. Surviving are: a son, Leigh (Janice) Monroe of Galeton; a daughter, Linda (Brian Becker) Huggler of Gaines; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Andrew (Regenia) Monroe of Sayre, PA, Anthony Monroe of Westfield, Albert (Alice) Monroe of Knoxville, PA, and Alan (Sherry) Monroe of Westfield, PA; five sisters, Carolyn Setzer of Elkland, PA, Cleoria (Mike) McCullen of Westfield, Corral Rose (Vane) Gunn of Knoxville, Cynthia Swimelar of Westfield, Crystal (James) Thorne of Ansonia, PA; a sister-in-law, Janice (Norman) Davis of Galeton; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Alex Monroe; and three sisters, Cora Haner, Connie Monroe, and Clara "Kate"McCullen. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2012 in the Lighthouse Community Church (Assembly of God) in Galeton, PA. Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville.
