Carl E. WILKINS

Carl E. WILKINS, 84, of Wellsville, NY, died Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the Comfort House of Allegany County, Wellsville. 

Born October 5, 1939, in Wellsville, he was the son of Clarke D. and Minnie Jones Wilkins.  He was employed by Market Basket in Wellsville and by Air Preheater for 35 years.  Carl spent a lot of time volunteering at Highland Park.  Surviving are: two children, Rebecca (Bruce “Chip”) Athelstone of Stump Creek, PA and Tony (Erin) Wilkins of Fort Mill, SC; his former wife of many years, Joanne Geffers Wilkins; four grandchildren, Andrew Wilkins, Lauren Wilkins, James Athelstone and Jeremy Athelstone; two sisters, Wilma (Alan) Myers of Friendship and Carol (Ron) Allen of Wellsville; and many Wilkins and Geffers nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son, Steven Carl Wilkins; and two sisters, Katherine H. Brown and Crystal Higby. 

Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 4:00 PM.  Rev. Monty Ader will officiate.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
