Carl D. VAN ETTEN

Carl D. VAN ETTEN, 82, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 in his home. Born August 22, 1933, in Harrison Valley, he was the son of Russell L. and Elberta Brimmer Van Etten. On June 29, 1963, in Westfield, PA, he married the former Mary Lou Hauber, who survives. He was employed by Eberle Tannery and Westfield Tanning Co. Surviving besides his wife, Mary Lou, are: two sons, Gary C. (Beth) Van Etten of Tega Cay, SC and Gregory A. (Judy) Van Etten of League City, TX; three grandsons; a brother, Elwin Van Etten of Harrison Valley; two sisters, Marlea Mathew of St. Petersburg, FL and Bonnie (Donald) Williammee of Harrison Valley; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Nolan Van Etten; a sister, Donna Mullican; and his step-father, Bert Saxton. Friends may call Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ed Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Federated Church, Harrison Valley, PA 16927 or a charity of the donor's choice.
