Brenda J. WHITE

Brenda J. WHITE, 74, of Belmont, NY, died Sunday, March 2, 2025 in her home. 

Born August 1, 1950, in Kane, PA, she was the daughter of Donald J. and Nancy DePonceau LaBarr. Brenda attended high school in Mount Jewett, PA. On October 21, 1995, in Salamanca, she married William R. White, who survives. Brenda devoted her life raising her children and her grandchildren. The greatest love in her life was her family as well as a revolving door of chaos and Rip Wheeler. 

Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are: five children, Randy (Melissa) Grooms of Chatworth, GA, Curtis Grooms of Wellsville, Melissa Hanson of Belmont, Cory (Tia) Grooms of Belmont, and Benjamin (Kelly) Grooms of Angelica; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joel LaBarr of NC, John LaBarr and Dan LaBarr, both of Warren, PA; several special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Beth Morse and Sue Shultz; and a brother, Jim LaBarr. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Deacon Frank Pasquale will officiate.
