Bonita R. HARRISON

Bonita R. HARRISON, 76, of Whitesville, NY, died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. 

Born May 24, 1948, in Hornell, she was the daughter of Lawrence A. and Vesta I. Dennis Whitsell. A graduate of Greenwood High School, she was a hairdresser in Greenwood. Bonnie enjoyed baking birthday cakes for her family and the community, making plastic canvas, sewing, and collecting dolls. 

Surviving are: two children, Tammy Harrison of Hornell and William (Jennifer) Harrison of Whitesville; four grandchildren, Gary, Maddelynn, Danielle, and Patty; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lawrence “Sam” Whitsell, Jr. of Wellsville, George (Carol) Whitsell of Rexville, and Kenneth (Peg) Whitsell of Knoxville, PA; two sisters: Judy Waters of Greenwood and Peggy Prutsman of Hornell; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Gary D. Harrison. 

Friends may call Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dennis Munro will officiate. Burial will be in North Bingham Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
