Betty L. KIBBE

Betty L. Hurler KIBBE, 83, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in her home.

Born September 6, 1936, in Brookfield, PA, she was the daughter of Charles and Mildred Briggs Hurler.

On September 24, 1954, in Harrison Valley, she married Edwin C. Kibbe, who survives.

Betty was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident.  She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years.

Surviving besides her husband, Edwin, are:  two sons, Michael (Nancy) Kibbe and Donald (Deborah) Kibbe, both of Harrison Valley;  five grandchildren, Debbie (Craig) Gilbert, Charlie (Tara) Kibbe, Jack Fitzwater, Sheri (Matt) Slater, and Mike (Ciara) Kibbe, Jr.;  nine great-grandchildren, Dakota, Rhiley, Wyatt, Dylan, Myah, Maleah, Chelsea, Kinslee, and Jayde;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Hurler, Jr.;  and a sister, Pauline Smith;  a great-granddaughter, Shelby.

Friends may call at Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, January 4, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM.  Rev. Donald N. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
