Betty M. DUELL, 90, of Fords Brook North Branch Road, Wellsville, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017, following a brief illness.
Born December 5, 1926, in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of Arthur and Lillian Metz Wolters.
On October 20, 1944, in Genesee, PA, she married Vaughn L. Duell, who predeceased her on August 27, 1991.
She attended Marshall High School in Rochester and was employed by Rochester Products Corp., retiring to Wellsville in 1977.
Betty enjoyed time spent with her family and many friends, gardening, and crocheting.
Surviving are: a son, Vaughn L. (Nancy) Duell, Jr. of Wellsville; a daughter, Sandra Jo (Daniel) Drexel of Rochester; a son-in-law, Robert Morrow of Rochester; six grandchildren, Vaughn III, Robert Jr., Jennifer, Jeremy, Nicole, and Jessica; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Vicki Morrow.
Honoring her request, there will be no visitation or service.
