Barbara A. ECK

Barbara A. ECK, 66, of Wellsville, NY, died Monday, January 23, 2023 in her home. 

Born January 28, 1956, in Olean, she was the daughter of Arvis and Dorothy James Bellamy.  A graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse, PA, she was employed by Olean Tile Co., The Store in Scio, and retired from Steuben Trust Company in Wellsville.  Barb enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving are:  her children, Christina (Anson) Beckwith of Bolivar, Clayton (Beth) Eck and Cory Eck, both of Wellsville;  eight grandchildren, Adacyn, Quinton, Nathan, Greyson, Ari, Paige, Sommer, and Lennox;  five siblings, Ann (Scott) Pequeen of OK, Bonnie (Dale) Bellamy of Hinsdale, Penny (Eric Wagner) Bellamy of Allegany, Jeffrey Bellamy of OK, and Arvis “Bud” Bellamy, Jr. of Hinsdale;  nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents;  and her former husband, Michael T. Eck. 

A memorial gathering will be held on a later date.  Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Scio.
