SMETHORT- B. Diana Janiszewski, 72, of N. Open Brook Rd., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (May 5, 2020) from injuries sustained in an accident.
Born January 13, 1948, in Indiana, PA, she was a daughter of Theodore and Barbara L. Plouse Bee. On Oct. 16, 1982, in Eldred, she married Edward J. Janiszewski, who died Feb. 1, 2013.
Diana was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1966.
She had been employed with Wilson Enterprises of Port Allegany, before retiring.
Diana enjoyed the outsdoors, hunting, gardening, bird watching, as well as baking & crocheting; but most of all, she enjoyed her dogs and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Richard S. (Jennifer) Lowman of Port Allegany; two daughters, Angela S. Anthony of Bradford, Bobbi Jo (Eric) Pearson of Port Allegany; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnie Bee of Port Allegany, Rick (Penny) Bee of Smethport; a sister, Judy Bee of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, a brother, Bruce Bee, and a nephew, Christopher Bee.
Private funeral and committal services will be held at the convenience of the family due to the pandemic circumstances. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
