PORT ALLEGANY-Amy R. Hoffman, 34, of Edinboro, PA, formerly of Port Allegany, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (Jan. 7, 2023) in Edinboro, PA.

Born December 20, 1988, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Ralph E. and Carol Lute Hoffman.

She was a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 2007, and Full Sail University, Winter Park, FL, with a BS in Journalism.

Amy was a customer service representative for Disabled Veterans Solutions of Erie, PA.

She was an avid reader & writer of short stories. She enjoyed music, cooking, and traveling to places like Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY, but most of all she loved her nieces and nephews.

She was a strong willed, brave, sophisticated, and intelligent person who will be missed by many.

Surviving in addition to her father, Ralph Hoffman of Port Allegany, are two brothers, Ralph E. (Rebecca) Hoffman, Jr. of North Augusta, SC, Dustin A. (Olivia) Hoffman of Ulysses, PA; six sisters, Brianna L. (Anthony Hatzell) Hoffman of Portville, NY, Sarna R. (Anthony) Wiley of Port Allegany, Angela M. (Nathan) Kio of Fairview, PA, Barbara A. (Thomas Bennett) Hoffman of Roulette, Michelle E. (Camron) Haggard of Gulfport, MS, and Rebeccah J. (Travis) Mix of Port Allegany.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carol Hoffman.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
