Alvin R. KENDERDINE

Alvin R. KENDERDINE,74, of Westfield, PA, formerly of Washington Crossing, PA, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 in his home. Born November 8, 1939, in Holland, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley E. and Pearl Hoagland Kenderdine. On September 22, 2001, in Croydon, PA, he married the former Rose Hand, who survives. He worked on the family dairy in Holland for several years and High Hope Farm in Holland for 20 years. Al and his brother were partners in Lou and Al Kenderdine Masonry in Southampton, PA for 28 years. He was last employed by Leedom's Welding and Fabricating, Inc. in Newtown for 20 years. Al was a NRA member and hunted in Potter County from 1955 until 1998. Surviving besides his wife, Rose, are: seven children, Sandy (Joe) Premo of Holland, Debbie Casini of Newtown, PA, Carol (Ken) Sallsgiver of Carlisle, PA, Alvin Kenderdine, Jr. of Levittown, PA, Judy (Bob) Adams of Newtown, PA, Kim (Todd) Glover of Perkasie, PA, Jason Kenderdine of Westfield; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six siblings, Margaret (Ray) Bearce of Toms River, NJ, Edward (Mary Ann) Kenderdine of Stroudsburg, PA, Louis (Shirley) Kenderdine of Southampton, PA, Dolly Hazzard of Neshaminy, PA, Nancy Nickels of Bensalem, PA, and David Kenderdine of Susquehanna, PA; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Mary Jane Iliff in 1996; two brothers, Jimmy Kenderdine and Harold Kenderdine; and a nephew, Robert W. Kenderdine. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Marty Zdrojewski will officiate. Burial will be in North Bingham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Future Farmers of America or the National Rifle Association.
