Alberta E. GROVER

Alberta E. GROVER, 90, of Genesee, PA, died Saturday, February 19, 2022 in her home.

Born May 18, 1931, in Little Marsh, she was the daughter of Hubert and Nettie Button Outman.  On June 15, 1948, in Wellsville, NY, she married Clarence M. Grover, who predeceased her on December 10, 2017.  A homemaker, Alberta devoted her life to caring for her family and extended family.  She was a member of Solid Rock Bible Church.

Surviving are:  a daughter, Patricia (Dennis) Lehman of Genesee;  a niece and a nephew she and Clarence raised, Brenda (Jamie) Loring of Genesee and Edward (Christine) Easterling of Ulysses;  several grandchildren including Mark (Amber) Lehman of Woodinville, WA;  great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;  a sister, Pauline Haskins of Parker, FL;  a brother, Harold Outman of Genesee;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a foster daughter, Cheryl Frost;  six sisters, Anna Miller, Helen Outman, Genevieve Outman, Ava Hawks, Gladys Jeffers, and Mary Jean Stone;  and four brothers, Raymond Outman, Jesse Outman, Edward Outman, and Urvil Outman.

Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM.  The family requests that masks be worn.  Rev. Mel Ternes will officiate.  Burial will be in North Bingham Cemetery.
